A 22-year-old lady on Monday fell from a suburban teach among Dombivali and Kopar stations in Maharashtra’s Thane district and died after being rushed to a near by hospital with excessive injuries, police stated. The incident occurred between kilometres 47/17 and 47/15 on Central Railway’s suburban network within the morning, stated Inspector Satish Pawar of Dombivali railway police.
“Charmi Prasad, a resident of Bhopar in Dombivali, fell down from a CSMT-bound fast teach around 9:30 am and turned into rushed to a health center in Shastri Nagar after human beings saw her lying injured at the tracks. She succumbed to extreme injuries. We have registered an accidental demise case,” Pawar added.
Pawar said the lady was visiting to Ghatkopar wherein she works in a personal firm.
